Die Große Nete ist ein Nebenfluss der Nete und gehört zum Einzugsgebiet der Schelde. Sie hat eine Länge von 44 km. Die Große Nete entspringt nordöstlich von Hechtel. Etwas weiter flussabwärts, in Lier, vereinigt sie sich mit der Kleinen Nete und bildet die Nete oder die Untere Nete.
