Metamorphose von Oliver Laric zeigt die Mutation eines gewöhnlichen Kröte, oder europäische Kröte, zu einem Tisch. Laric entschlüsselt diese Transformation gründlich. Jede Transformationsphase ist eine Skulptur für sich, von gleichem Gewicht und Bedeutung. ‘Morphing’, die physische Transformation, die ein Charakter durchmacht, ist ein wiederkehrendes Thema in seinen Videos, Installationen und Skulpturen. Durch die Darstellung von Kreationen, die weniger durch Kategorien definiert sind, schafft Laric Platz für eine neue Beziehung der gegenseitigen Abhängigkeit, die die Überlegenheit des Menschen ausdrücklich aufhebt.
