Die Klippen vom Hohenstein in Hessisch Oldendorf gelten als einer der Höhepunkte im Wandergebiet des westlichen Weserberglandes. An diesem geheimnisvollen, steinernen Felsenriff aus vergangener Zeit verehrten einst Germanen, Cherusker und Sachsen ihre Götter. Verpassen Sie nicht den Anblick der 50 Meter in die Tiefe fallenden Klippen, die beim Runterschauen Gänsehaut erzeugen. Also lieber den Blick in die Ferne richten und den grandiosen Ausblick über das liebliche Wesertal genießen. Ausgangspunkt für diese Wanderung ist der Parkplatz "Baxmannbaude, in dessen Nähe sich auch die Waldschänke Baxmannbaude im Blutbachtal befindet.
