Der Nationalpark Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici liegt in den katalanischen Pyrenäen. Er wurde 1955 eingerichtet und ist der einzige Nationalpark in der autonomen Region Katalonien.
Der Name Aigüestortes geht auf die Mäander des Riu de Sant Nicolau zurück und bedeutet so viel wie „gewundene Gewässer“. Estany de Sant Maurici ist der katalanische Name eines Sees im Park, der auf Spanisch Lago de San Mauricio heißt.
