The Tungelerwallen

The Tungelerwallen is part of the Border Park KempenBroek, a large Dutch-Belgian nature reserve. Since 2024, Border Park KempenBroek has received the important UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status. While cycling through The Tungelerwallen, the planted pine forest with a heathland and drifting sand plain stands out. In the open plains, space is given to insects such as the ant lion and various species of digging wasps.
