Al recorrer la ruta C2C de Escocia desde Annan hasta el Puente Forth (ver https://www.sevendaycyclist.com/ultimate-scottish-c2c-guide), varios ciclistas locales sugirieron esta como una ruta alternativa de Moffat a Innerleithen. Es cierto que se pierde el Devil's Beef Tub, Tweedale y Peebles, pero los camiones de madera son menos, y los locales dijeron que pensaban que era una ruta más bonita.
