El Castillo Geulle fue construido en 1595 por Wolter Hoen van Hoensbroeck. De la impresionante construcción de esa época, el Vorburgo con su foso brilla aún con todo su esplendor. La fortaleza está rodeada por un hermoso jardín con árboles antiguos. Al otro lado de la carretera se encuentran, frente al puente de acceso, dos pilastras de entrada del siglo XVIII. Este oasis de tranquilidad se encuentra a 12 kilómetros al norte de Maastricht, entre el Mosa y el canal Julian.
