Le monde des chemins de fer modèles d'Oberhausen était une exposition permanente de chemins de fer modèles dans la « Nouvelle Mitte Oberhausen », directement à côté de la marina Heinz-Schleußer, à l'est du site du CentrO, le long de l'autoroute 42. L'installation a ouvert ses portes aux visiteurs le 1er août 2008 et a présenté, sur une surface de 420 m², des motifs de la région de la Ruhr de 1965 à 1970. Dans le bâtiment se trouvait, d'avril 2012 à mai 2015, un musée d'espionnage TOP SECRET.
