Ce parcours passe le long des 17 colonnes avec des informations historiques qui font partie du projet La Chronique d'Enkhuizen. Ce projet a été réalisé par la Fondation Chronique d'Enkhuizen en collaboration avec la commune d'Enkhuizen. Chaque colonne traite des sujets concernant l'histoire d'Enkhuizen, en commençant en 1572. C'est l'année où Enkhuizen a été la première ville des Pays-Bas du Nord à se libérer du joug espagnol et à choisir le Prince d'Orange.
