Il ponte levatoio delle Aguesses si trova non lontano dal bacino del canale dell'Ourthe. Denominato anche ponte levatoio Marcotty, ricorda la presenza in questo luogo di un antico mulino, situato lungo il biez delle Aguesses e interrato all'inizio del XX secolo.
Questa notevole opera in metallo verniciato è stata costruita nel 1852. È composta da una soletta mobile parzialmente in legno che può essere sollevata e azionata a mano. Questo meccanismo rende questo ponte levatoio un esemplare unico nella provincia di Liegi. Ai margini del ponte, i muri del molo inclinato in grande blocchi di calcare sono scanditi da pilastri di calcare sormontati da un corrimano in metallo verniciato. La casa del chiavistello è visibile nei dintorni immediati del ponte levatoio.
Classificato come monumento il 20 maggio 1983.
