Il Lakerhof è una delle storiche fattorie di Kessenich. Prima menzione nel 1541 come proprietà della famiglia van Waes, nel 1804 venduta al barone Michiels. Situata ai margini della paludosa valle dell'Itterbeek, è già indicata sulla mappa di Ferraris (1771-77) come Cse Laekerhoff sotto forma di una fattoria a due parti, entrambi gli edifici con il tetto perpendicolare alla strada; nella stessa forma è rappresentata anche nell'Atlante delle Strade Rurali (1845).
