Il Bois de la Louvière è un bosco che fa parte della fascia boschiva delle colline testimoni della regione. Una collina testimone è una collina più o meno isolata e resistente all'erosione nel paesaggio. Lo strato di terreno resistente all'erosione nella collina è 'testimone' di una deposizione sedimentaria che un tempo copriva l'intero paesaggio, ma che è stata successivamente frantumata dall'erosione. Il bosco si trova quasi interamente a Flobecq. È protetto come area europea Natura 2000 con il nome "Vallée de la Rhosnes".
