Bellissima passeggiata dalla stazione di Nijlen alla stazione di Herentals. C'è anche la possibilità di dividere la passeggiata poiché passa accanto alla stazione di Bouwel. Nijlen-Bouwel è lunga 8,1 km e Bouwel-Herentals 11,3 km.
La passeggiata si svolge principalmente su strade asfaltate. Abbiamo cercato di prendere il maggior numero possibile di strade a basso traffico e ci siamo riusciti abbastanza bene. Qui e là è necessario seguire una strada affollata a causa di assenza di alternative.
La passeggiata passa anche vicino al mulino di Bouwel e alla rovina della prioria di Nostra Signora del Trono. Entrambi meritano una sosta. Anche la bellissima grotta di Lourdes nella Molendreef vale una sosta.
