La passeggiata va da un'area naturale all'altra attraverso un paesaggio leggermente ondulato. Prima attraverso Groot-Asdonk, poi Dassenaarde, Eikelenberg e il Prinsenbos e infine Heuvelke e Achterheide. In molti luoghi si sta facendo 'recupero del paesaggio' da parte di Natuurpunt. Nella pratica, ciò significa che la foresta deve fare spazio per il paesaggio della brughiera. Dipende quindi da dove si pone il proprio punto di riferimento nel passato per fare 'recupero'.
