5. Ganzepoot con sistema idrico del canale Veurne-Ambacht. Da qui, dal 29 ottobre, la pianura dell'IJzer fu allagata fino a Diksmuide. Ciò creò un fronte "stabile" tra Nieuwpoort e Diksmuide, difeso dalle forze armate belghe.
