Il percorso esplora un residuo delle Gavermeersen tra Harelbeke e Deerlijk. Un tempo quest'area costituiva un complesso continuo di prati umidi e praterie a bassa quota. Al centro si trova il dominio provinciale De Gavers, allestito come un'area ricreativa polivalente. Il percorso per cavalieri effettua un giro attorno al Gaverplas, formato dall'estrazione di sabbia per la costruzione dell'autostrada E17. Il percorso ti porta attraverso piantagioni boschive e lungo riserve naturali attrezzate. Qui puoi goderti una passeggiata tranquilla nella polmoni verdi di un ambiente urbanizzato.
