La cappella di San Lucio si trova a circa 960 metri di altezza, a circa 45 minuti a piedi dalla fattoria, su un sentiero sopra la Schanfiggerstrasse, in una grotta di roccia sul Mittenberg, nel capoluogo del Grigioni, Coira. È sotto il patrocinio di Lucio di Coira ed è di proprietà del seminario sacerdotale di San Luzi della facoltà di teologia di Coira.
La prima menzione documentale di un luogo di culto nell'odierna cappella risale al 23 marzo 1385. La visita del luogo era legata a un'indulgenza concessa dal vescovo di Coira Giovanni II di Ehingen in quel giorno. La cappella stessa fu costruita tra il 1645 e il 1660, dopo la fine delle turbolenze retiche.
