Il Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg fa parte del centro professionale del distretto di Herford ad Aawiesen. Qui si trovano anche il Wilhelm-Normann-Berufskolleg e l'Anna-Siemsen-Berufskolleg. Il nome dell'istituto è dedicato a Friedrich List. Il FLB si trova direttamente lungo l'Aa e in prossimità del parco Aawiesen. Il Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg dispone di 60 aule, suddivise in 3 aule per gruppi piccoli, 14 aule informatiche, un centro di autoapprendimento, una sala EVA, aule specialistiche e infine 40 aule per le lezioni.
