Il ponte è anche conosciuto come Ponte Quattro Capi o il Ponte delle 4 Teste.
La prima casa a sinistra entrando nell'isola è collegata a Matilde di Toscana, che aveva una voce importante in Vaticano, ma può anche essere associata ai Trappisti di Orval.
