Marche-en-Famenne is een stad in de Belgische provincie Luxemburg. De stad telt ruim 17.000 inwoners.
De stad kreeg bekendheid vanwege de ondertekening op 8 november 1576 van de Pacificatie van Gent, door de pasbenoemde landvoogd don Juan van Oostenrijk. Enkele maanden later, op 12 februari 1577, werd er ook het Eeuwig en Onherroepbaar Edict ondertekend, waarmee don Juan verklaarde de modaliteiten van het akkoord te aanvaarden. De Staten zouden verder de koning erkennen en eigenhandig het katholicisme handhaven of herstellen.
