Eertijds zogenaamd Villa Van Ham, naar de bouwheer P.J.F. Van Ham (1859-1935), zakenman (onder andere mede-eigenaar van een landbouwstokerij op de Norbert Neeckxlaan), gemeentesecretaris van 1888 tot 1904, burgemeester van Lommel van 1904 tot en met 1921 en sinds 1891 gehuwd met Anna Moons als telg van een belangrijke Lommelse teutenfamilie. Vanaf 1957 zogenaamd Villa Vanduffel naar de toenmalige eigenaar, notaris J. Vanduffel, sedert 1995 "Burgemeestershuis", eigendom van de stad, in gebruik als onthaal- en tentoonstellingsruimte. Op 9 juli 1999, inhuldiging na restauratie van 1998-99 naar ontwerp van binnenhuisarchitect F.L. Van Praet (Antwerpen) en landschapsarchitect P. Deroose (Jabbeke).
