De wandeling vertrekt vanaf de brug van Remouchamps via de Rue de la Reffe, langs de Amblève tot aan de kerk van Sougné. De route gaat vervolgens via de Rue du Passeur d’Eau, Rue Ladry en Rue Tratinfosse en door vervolgens onder de afrit van de snelweg door naar het uitkijkpunt W. Fostier (schitterend uitzicht). Vanaf het monument van de slag om Sprimont (Franse Revolutie) op de top van de bekende bergpas La Redoute loopt de route een stukje parallel aan de snelweg en daalt dan af naar de voet van deze berg. De terugweg door Sougné is dezelfde als heen, maar in tegengestelde richting. Percentage bos: 30%.
