Het Bellevuebos ligt op de steilste flank van de Winterbeekvallei is een van de grootste aaneengesloten bossen in deze streek en wordt beheerd door het Agentschap voor Natuur en Bos. De mooie vergezichten waar de naam 'Bellevue' naar verwijst, danken we aan het feit dat dit domein tussen de 60 en 87 meter boven de zeespiegel ligt. Aan de zuidelijke rand van het bos vind je kasteel Belle Vue, waarschijnlijk een 18de-eeuws jachtpaviljoen van baron de Copis, toenmalig kasteelheer van Gors.
