Castilblanco is een gemeente in de Spaanse provincie Badajoz in de regio Extremadura met een oppervlakte van 132 km². Castilblanco heeft 1.040 inwoners .In 1931-32 tijdens de Tweede Republiek was Castilblanco het toneel van hevige sociale strijd. Een staking van de landarbeidersvakbond FNTT werd op 31 december 1931 op geweld onthaald van de Guardia Civil. Nadat een staker was doodgeschoten was, wreekten de stakers zich op de politie en sloegen vier leden van de Guardia Civil dood. Op nieuwjaarsdag 1932 sloeg de Guardia Civil terug en doodde 18 mensen in Castilblanco en de daaropvolgende dagen vielen nog verschillende doden onder de stakers op andere plaatsen in de provincie Badajoz.
