Het Telefónica-gebouw (1926-1928) staat op een van de hoeken van het Plaza Nueva, aan de Avenida de la Constitución en naast het stadhuis, en is het werk van Juan Talavera y Heredia
De decoratie is gebaseerd op de barokke modellen van de kerk van San Luis, het paleis van San Telmo en de kerk van La Magdalena.
Het gebouw wordt gekenmerkt door de uitgebreide versieringen en is een van de beste voorbeelden van het Sevilliaanse neobarokke regionalisme.
