Description

De Grot van Nestor is niet erg groot. Het heeft een diepte van ongeveer 50 meter en een hoogte van ongeveer 20 meter. Bovenaan de grot is een gat. Het pad dat verder naar het kasteel leidt (Paleokastro) passeert dat gat. Dus wees voorzichtig, want je kunt een val van 20 meter maken, zoals sommige geiten dat reeds deden. Dit was ook de grot waar Nestor en de god Apollo zijn ossen zou onderdak geven. En dit gegeven zou de vorm van de nabijgelegen baai veroorzaakt hebben.
