De Martinus Nijhoffbrug (1996) is een kabel- of tuibrug over de Waal bij Zaltbommel. Dit type brug kenmerkt zich door een wegdek dat is opgehangen aan dikke kabels (de tuien). De kabels zijn bevestigd aan de pylonen. Pylonen zijn in de bruggenbouw grote stalen of betonnen torens bij kabel- of tuibruggen, waaraan de staalkabels bevestigd zijn, waaraan de brug hangt. Een pyloon heeft vaak twee poten aan weerszijden van het wegdek (bovenaan en eventueel ook op andere hoogtes met elkaar verbonden), soms alleen één in het midden of twee aan elke kant.
De brug is de vervanging van de oude en te smalle Bommelse Brug uit 1933, die in april 2007 werd gesloopt. De brug is vernoemd naar de dichter Martinus Nijhoff.
