Hohenkirchen er en landsby i kommunen Wangerland i den tyske delstat Niedersachsen. Det er en del af Landkreis Friesland. Landsbyen er sæde for kommunens administration.
Hohenkirchen er en højd landsby. Den ældste høje var, i henhold til udførte arkæologiske fund, allerede beboet omkring begyndelsen af vores tidsregning. I middelalderen udviklede den sig som en sogne landsby omkring kirken. Fra 1889 til 1988 var landsbyen forbundet med Jever og Carolinensiel via en jernbanelinie, som sjældent blev brugt.
Landsbyen har været standsted for en Bundeswehr-kaserne fra 1973 til 2003.
