Denne kommune i Ardennerne er en del af kommunesamarbejdet i Sedan-området og betjenes af fire departementsveje. Den er organiseret som openfield og er omgivet af landbrugsarealer og græsmarker. Kommunens område er afgrænset mod nord af den belgiske grænse og består i høj grad af skove. Den største landsby drænes af en lille biflod til Maas, bække af Mézières. Hjemstedet Olly, som administrativt hører under Illy, drænes af Givonne-floden.
