Der weiße Bergmühle wurde um 1880 erbaut, um eine hölzerne Pfahlmühle aus dem Jahr 1738 zu ersetzen. Vor einigen Jahren wurde die ursprüngliche Mühle, die Risse und Spalten zeigte, abgerissen und einige Dutzend Meter weiter vollständig wieder aufgebaut. Die Fläche vor der Mühle wurde damals als Kulisse für den Film 'De Vlaschaard' verwendet. Zudem steht dort der Aussichtsturm (Fernrohr), der während des Ersten Weltkriegs als Beobachtungsposten für die deutschen Truppen diente.
