Der Bois de la Louvière ist ein Wald, der Teil des Waldgürtels der Zeugenhügel der Region ist. Ein Zeugenhügel ist ein mehr oder weniger isolierter und erosionresistenter Hügel in der Landschaft. Die erosionresistente Erdschicht im Hügel ist 'Zeuge' einer sedimentären Ablagerung, die einst die gesamte Landschaft bedeckte, aber später durch Erosion zersplittert wurde. Der Wald liegt fast vollständig in Flobecq. Er ist als europäisches Natura-2000-Gebiet unter dem Namen "Vallée de la Rhosnes" geschützt.
