Fraissinet-de-Fourques liegt unterhalb der Causse Méjean. Die seit der protestantischen Reformation treu gebliebene Gemeinde ist eine Art isolierte katholische Enklave inmitten der mehrheitlich protestantischen Cevennen.
Die mehrfach beschädigte Kirche hat ein Schiff mit drei Jochen, dessen Apsis ein Kreuzgewölbe aufweist. Ein Dekor aus lombardischen Arkaden schmückt die Außenseite.
