The historic house at Schützenstraße 7 is a listed building located in the city center of the district town of Bergheim in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia.
In 1912/13, the then director of the Bergheim district utilities, Walter Pechstein, had this house built. The plans were designed by Anton Ruland, and the construction was carried out by the Elsdorf master builder Heinrich Wolff. The building soon received the name "Villa Pechstein." Pechstein had initially worked as an engineer during the construction of the district waterworks. In 1906, the Bergheim district council entrusted him with the management of the waterworks. Later, Pechstein served as the technical director of the Bergheim district utilities.
