La Ruta Fronteriza de Hoeilaart existe desde hace muchos años. A iniciativa de la sección VTB-VAB / Creadores de Cultura, se diseñó esta ruta de senderismo y ciclismo de aproximadamente 27 kilómetros. La filosofía de esta ruta era seguir la frontera de Hoeilaart con sus municipios vecinos.
Esta ruta pasa por varios lugares hermosos en el municipio, incluyendo un hermoso tramo del Bosque de Soignes. Atención: también puedes recorrer la ruta en bicicleta, pero en algunos lugares tendrás que bajarte porque no puedes pasar con la bicicleta (por ejemplo, en el camino hundido de la Hazendreef).
