Durante esta ruta explorarás el paisaje fronterizo al noroeste de Poperinge. Pedalarás entre Watou y Beveren, a ambos lados de la frontera franco-belga. El tema central de la ruta es el contrabando. Saldrás del pueblo artístico de Watou y cruzarás la frontera hacia el francés Houtkerke. Luego, continuarás hacia Rexpoëde. De vuelta en territorio belga pasarás por Beveren-aan-de-IJzer, Oost-Cappel y Roesbrugge-Haringe. Dato curioso: La frontera franco-belga también se conoce en la región como la 'Schreve'.
