Las denominadas Cuevas de la Antigua Fragua, en el casco histórico de Mijas, forman un conjunto de tres pequeñas cuevas en las rocas, fruto tanto de la naturaleza como de la mano del hombre.
Las cuevas sirvieron como lugar de almacenamiento para una fragua .
El uso humano de estas madrigueras naturales era muy común en el período preindustrial, ya que aseguraban una temperatura y humedad constantes con los consiguientes beneficios materiales.
Las tres habitaciones han sido adaptadas para habitación humana, especialmente la más grande. La casa de la fragua no se ha conservado.
