South Stoke es una aldea y parroquia civil en la orilla este del Támesis, aproximadamente a 1.5 millas al norte de Goring-on-Thames en el sur de Oxfordshire. Incluye a menos de 1 milla al norte el pequeño pueblo y la casa de campo de Littlestoke.
En 975, el rey Edgar concedió tierras a Osweard en Stoke, probablemente más tarde los señoríos de South Stoke y Offham. El señorío pasó a la Abadía de Eynsham en 1094. En el momento de los Censos de Cien en 1279, South Stoke tenía 40 inquilinos y solo tres propietarios libres.
