El río Ithon es un importante afluente de la margen izquierda del río Wye en Powys, Gales. Nace en el amplio sillón entre el extremo occidental de Kerry Hill y la colina de Glog al oeste y fluye inicialmente hacia el sur hasta Llanbadarn Fynydd. Luego toma una ruta sinuosa hacia el sur a través de las aldeas de Llanbister, Llanddewi Ystradenny y Penybont antes de girar al suroeste, y luego retroceder hacia el norte en dirección a Crossgates. Desde aquí reanuda un curso hacia el suroeste, fluyendo pasto Llandrindod Wells y el sitio del castillo de Cefnllys hasta un afluente con el Wye, 1 milla al sur de Newbridge-on-Wye.
