La fachada oeste, en Via Bonello , data de los siglos XIV y XV y está flanqueada por dos torres góticas.
Tiene un portal gótico, con una preciosa estatua de la Virgen del siglo XV en un nicho encima. Dos arcadas de arco apuntado atraviesan la calle y conectan la catedral con el campanario , adyacente al Palacio Arzobispal.
Los paneles en relieve de bronce de la puerta central son de Filippo Sgarlata de Palermo del siglo XX. En simetría y reflejando el eje de la entrada, hay cuatro inscripciones en piedra rematadas por igual número de hornacinas.
