Justo al norte de la autovía A12 y atravesado por la línea de tren Utrecht – Arnhem se encuentra la finca Rijnwijck. Debido a su ubicación aislada, no es muy conocida y es poco visitada. La casa de campo fue construida a principios del siglo XVII y ya fue demolida en 1867. Lo que queda son restos del foso que rodeaba la isla donde se situaba la casa. La madera de fresno es característica de la zona a lo largo del Kromme Rijn, así como en la Finca Rijnwijck. La resistente madera de fresno es muy adecuada para fabricar mangos de herramientas.
