Comenzamos la caminata por el río Akerselva desde Mariadalevannet y caminamos a lo largo del río hacia la Estación Central de Oslo. La ventaja es que sigues el río hacia abajo.

Para llegar al inicio, toma el tren R31 o el tranvía 12/15 a Kjelsås desde la Estación Central. Si vas en tranvía, bajas en la última estación y caminas por la Asbjørnsens vei para ir a la estación de tren de Kjelsås y comenzar la caminata.
