L'église de Sant'Antonio Abate est située sur la Piazza Sant'Antonio à Pise.
Il a été fondé en 1341 avec le monastère adjacent, qui a été détruit pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, et a subi quelques rénovations en 1392 à la demande de Pietro Gambacorti.
Elle a été reconstruite après la guerre dans la forme qu'elle avait à la fin du XVIIIe siècle. La façade inférieure, par Lupo et Giovanni di Gante et Simone di Matteo da Siena, est en bandes de marbre bicolore (1399-1410). Au fond de la cour se trouve l'immense fresque Tuttomondo de Keith Haring, dernière œuvre publique de l'artiste (1989) avant sa mort en 1990 des suites du sida.
