Partenza e arrivo presso la chiesa di Hillegem, da lì camminiamo nella Diepestraat. Attraverso la valle del Cotthembeek ci dirigiamo verso Oombergen e da lì verso la Minnebeeklos, dove si trova il motte del Minnebeek accanto a un laghetto (proprietà privata). Percorriamo i boschi insieme attraverso piccoli sentieri verso i boschi di Oomberg e facciamo una deviazione verso il quartiere di Cotthem con la grotta di Maria.
Il Cotthembos si trova nelle vicinanze e attraversiamo l'intero bosco in lunghezza, giungendo a Sint-Lievens-Houtem. Dopo un breve tratto sulla strada, entriamo nell'Oude Heerweg e camminiamo lungo strade tranquille all'ombra degli alberi e poi attraverso i coltivi, tornando alla chiesa di Hillegem.
