Durante questo percorso esplorerai il paesaggio di confine a nord-ovest di Poperinge. Pedalerai tra Watou e Beveren, da entrambi i lati del confine franco-belga. Il tema centrale del percorso è il traffico di contrabbando. Partirai dal paesino d’arte di Watou e pedalando attraverserai il confine verso l’Houtkerke francese. Successivamente, si proseguirà verso Rexpoëde. Tornato nel territorio belga, passerai per Beveren-aan-de-IJzer, Oost-Cappel e Roesbrugge-Haringe. Curiosità: Il confine franco-belga è noto nella regione anche come 'Schreve'.
