Le cosiddette Cuevas de la Antigua Fragua (Grotte della Vecchia Forgia), nel centro storico di Mijas, formano un gruppo di tre piccole grotte nella roccia, per effetto sia della natura che della mano dell'uomo.
Le grotte servivano da deposito per una fucina .
L'uso umano di queste tane naturali era molto diffuso nel periodo preindustriale in quanto assicuravano temperatura e umidità costanti con conseguenti benefici materiali.
Tutte e tre le stanze sono state adattate per l'abitazione umana, in particolare la più grande. La casa della fucina non è stata conservata.
