La mediateca intercomunale si trova nel centro di Plaisance, un edificio di 160 m² a vocazione culturale, affiancato dalla Bibliothèque Départementale de Prêts (Biblioteca Dipartimentale di Prestito) che completa la collezione documentaria esistente.
La mediateca offre in prestito più di 9.000 libri (romanzi, gialli, documentari, biografie, libri per bambini...) - 750 CD - 350 fumetti - 300 DVD - 50 CD-ROM. È inoltre possibile consultare diverse riviste, 4 stazioni di ascolto CD e 5 stazioni Internet gratuite.
E naturalmente, durante tutto l'anno, ci sono eventi per il pubblico e per le scuole: mostre a tema, conferenze, laboratori di arti creative, letture, incontri letterari, ecc.
