Els Bock è un promontorio situato all'estremità nord-orientale della Città di Lussemburgo. Si tratta di una fortificazione naturale che domina il fiume Alzette, il luogo originale dove Sigfrido di Lussemburgo ordinò la costruzione del castello di Lucilinburhuc nel 963, attorno al quale sarebbe stata costruita la moderna capitale del Lussemburgo. Per secoli, la fortezza è stata attaccata dai Burgundi, dagli Asburgo e dai prussiani e infine è stata distrutta in virtù del Trattato di Londra del 1867 al termine della Guerra Austro-Prussiana. Le rovine della fortezza e il suo ampio sistema di corridoi, gallerie e casematte sono ancora oggi una grande attrazione turistica.
