La Mauritskerk o la N.H. Kerk fu costruita tra il 1612 e il 1614. Questa fu la prima chiesa in Zelanda costruita per i servizi protestanti. All'interno dell'edificio si possono trovare molte pietre commemorative sul pavimento e vari pannelli commemorativi; sono silenziosi testimoni della storia di IJzendijke. Anche il bellissimo tabellone dei dieci comandamenti è qui un esempio. In alto si ode il carillon, che spesso suona l'inno popolare Zeelandese-Flemish.
