Clermont-sur-Berwinne, het moet ongetwijfeld een van s lands mooiste plekken zijn. De ouderwetse kasseien verplichten je tot stapvoets rijden. Je rijdt via de poort onder het gemeentehuis door. De architectuur is opvallend homogeen, zeventiende- en achttiende-eeuws. De huizen hebben niet meer dan één verdieping, met een eenvoudige bakstenen gevel en een mooie natuurstenen omlijsting van ramen en deuren. Tegenover de mooie gevelrij pronkt een gemeentegebouw in Maaslandse renaissancestijl. Clermont heeft voldoende om er een poosje te blijven en er even weg te dromen. Het dorp staat tenslotte op de lijst van les plus beaux villages de Wallonie, het clubje van de mooiste Waalse dorpen.
