Gedenksteen met opschrift: "HIER VIEL EL-CID MET EEN GROOT RUITER". Onderaan de steen staat de afbeelding van een paardenhoofd. Googlen levert het volgende op: in 1986 viel een Lommelse bioscoop-eigenaar in beschonken toestand van zijn paard. Het paard heette El-Cid en was op slag dood maar de ruiter overleefde de val. De steen zou een macaber grapje zijn van zijn rijke vrienden. Info komt uit de serie "Merlijn over de grens" van omroep Brabant die het weer van de Bergeijkse heemkunde-vereniging heeft.
